This image of Mt. Everest and Mt. Nuptse was taken from Kala Pattar (18,500) feet my high point of the 6 week Nepal expedition. Mt. Nuptse to the right looks taller than Everest because it is closer to me by 3 miles than Everest. The elevation of Mt. Nuptse is around 26,000 feet. My Sherpa held my tripod steady for me as the winds were very strong. The clouds were blowing by my feet and I would shoot as they allowed compositions. The sunset was the one I hoped for as I trained back home for the trip to Nepal
