Description
I waited for 2 weeks to get this image of Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range from Bretton Woods,NH. We had a good snow storm just before Christmas this year. The clouds were stubborn and refused to leave the summit. Every day it would be sunny in The Mt. Washington Valley, but just as soon as you reached the summit of Crawford Notch State Park and entered Bretton Woods back into the clouds you went. The reason I wanted this image so bad was the great snowy trees that went right to the valley floor. My day finally came and boy was I glad I was so persistent. This image was taken from the MT. Eisenhower overlook. It was below zero, but I kept going through sunset.
