This image of Mt.Washington and the Presidential Range and Clinton Brook was photographed from the grounds of the Mt. Washington Hotel. This is one of my favorite shots of the Presidential Range from Bretton Woods, NH. After a January snow storm that had coated the trees, it toke 2 weeks for the Presidential Range to be cloud free. It was always sunny in Mt. Washington Valley, but as soon as you traveled through Crawford Notch you would go into clouds and snow. This photograph is not possible now because of structures that have been built.
