This shot of Mt. Lafayette and The Franconia Range was taken from the top of Cannon Mountain Ski Area in New Hampshire’s Franconia Notch State Park. I love working with snow covered trees because it helps keep the foreground clean. Cannon Mountain ski area is famous for many days of snow covered trees because it’s summit is over 4,000 feet tall. This elevation and it’s location keeps moisture on the summit causing rime frost to form on the trees.This shot of Mt.
