The Moat Range is in New Hampshire’s White Mountains and the White Mountain National Forest. This summer image was taken in the morning when the sun was to the left of the frame. Presently the foreground trees have died and the marsh is cluttered with debris. Many of my images that I shot years ago do not photograph as well as they did because of changes it the environment in the scene.
