Description
My goal during this devastating weather event was to only photograph the beauty that the ice storm gave me. This sunrise of ice coated trees was shot in the White Mountain National Forest on the first morning after storm cleared. As the temperature warmed branches started to fall from the trees and whole trees would fall to the ground from the weigh of the ice. It sounded like a war zone in the woods and one had to be aware of their surroundings or you were going to get hurt.
