This sunrise of Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range om New Hampshire White Mountains was taken from Jackson, New Hampshire. The summit of Mt. Washington had just gone through a warm spell and had lost most of it’s snow. The day before I took the photo a storm came through and the temperatures were still warm, but cold enough to cause a wet snow to fall on the summit. The wet snow clung to the rocks and trees giving the appearance of a lot of snow on the mountains.
