Description
This photograph was taken from the summit of Cannon Mountain Ski Area in The White Mountain National Forest in Franconia, NH. A trail travels around the summit giving great vistas of Mt. Lafayette and The Franconia Range. The trail is easy to walk in the summer, but the winter brings feet of snow. You need either snowshoes or skis on your feet. I love shooting with wide angle lens into the sun and getting star bursts. As I said in an earlier caption the Cannon Mountain Tram will take you up and down so you do not have to be a skier. I would highly suggest that you put it on your bucket list. The views of Franconia Notch State Park from the summit of Cannon Mountain Ski Area make for a great winter’s outing.
