Description
Shooting sunsets of the Presidential Range in the White Mountain National Forest gives better results in December or January because the sun is lower in the sky. This image of the range in New Hampshire’s White Mountain’s was taken from the Mt. Eisenhower overlook. It was an extremely cold evening. I went through many batteries and hand warmers. Of course I was shooting on a tripod and I had to be careful not to breath on the camera because if I did I would frost over my viewing screen. After I did this once I became careful not to do it again, because it was a pain clearing the frost off and you were loosing that magical light that is short lived. The Mountain to the far left is Mt. Monroe then Mt. Franklin and last Mt. Eisenhower.
