I have traveled on many photographic workshops. It is good to meet other photographers who share your passion. There are many advantages to these workshops, one being the knowledge of your guide to put you in the right place at the right time to photograph your subject matter. Know matter how good one is there is always lots to learn if you keep an open mind. I had always wanted to shot the deserts during the spring, but being mostly a winter shooter I needed guidance. Shooting the silhouette of a cactus at sunset in Saguaro National Park was lots of fun.
