Description
This photograph in Yellowstone National Park , Wyoming was taken early one morning. The temperature was -20 degrees Fahrenheit, with all the moisture from the geysers creating fog and rime ice. We were out for a couple hours shooting all kinds of images. It is great to have hand warmers inside your gloves. Your hands are the first thing to get cold , especially if you take your gloves off to preform camera functions. Your feet and body will stay warm as long as you keep moving. On our way back for breakfast we pasted by the tree again. It looked very ugly now because all the rime frost had melted form it. The tree was actually dead, it was burned during the fires of 1988.
